Class 1: “Cinematic views of the 21st century”
We will discuss important, transcending and classic film authors. Why are they significant? Who decided so? Has history given them the importance? If not, who? How? Is their cinema still important now?
Instructor: Erick Estrada, film critic, jury member in multiple Mexican festivals, and producer of the podcast “Cine Garage”.
There will be a total of 8 masterclasses every 2 weeks starting Wednesday July 14th.

Class 2: “ART WITHIN THE SEVENTH ART”
We will discuss myths about art in audio-visual forms. Is art making films about artists? Is art to mirror artworks into the frame? Is using clichés during the artistic creation a contradiction? Set design, props, makeup, wardrobe, color pallets.

Autores importantes, autores trascendentes. Autores clásicos. ¿Por qué lo son? ¿Quién lo decidió? ¿Ha sido la historia quien les ha dado esa importancia? Si no ella, ¿quién? ¿cómo? ¿Importa su cine en la actualidad?

Inicia: 14 de Julio, 7 clases de manera quincenal cada Miércoles.
MASTERCLASS 2 ¨ARTE DENTRO DEL SEPTIMO ARTE¨
Mitos sobre qué es el arte en el audio visual: ¿Es el arte hacer películas sobre artistas?, ¿Es el arte asemejar obras dentro de los fotogramas? ¿Usar el cliché en la creación artística es una contradicción? Escenografía, Utilería, Maquillaje, Vestuario, Paleta de color.
Maestra: Jazmín Ruano, escenografa, directora y productora de cine.
Inicia: 22 de Julio, 4 clases de manera mensual cada Jueves.
