The Strategy of the Snail (1993) is a Colombian comedy-drama about a group of tenants in Bogota who, facing eviction, devise a clever plan to stay. Led by a Spanish anarchist exile and a lawyer, the film uses humor and social commentary to explore poverty, dignity, and community resistance. It was Colombia's submission for the Academy Award for Best International Film that year.
