Rosa María Bianchi has an outstanding career in TV, theater and film. Born in Argentina, she moved very young to Mexico, where she trained as a stage actress. She debuted in TV in Cuna de lobos, a soap opera that gained worldwide fame. In 2004, she won the Ariel award for Best Female Performance by the Mexican Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences, in recognition to her work in Nicotina (Hugo Rodríguez, 2003).
Jayro Bustamante is a renowned and prolific Guatemalan filmmaker. He spent his childhood in a Mayan community and later studied Advertising and Communication. He then moved to Europe to study at the Free Conservatory of French Cinema, in Paris, and at the Experimental Center of Cinema, in Rome. Upon his return to Guatemala, in 2009, he cofounded La Casa de Producción. With Ixcanul (2015), his debut film, he obtained the Silver Bear Award at the Berlin International Film Festival, and over 50 other international accolades. La llorona (2019) earned him the Best Director award at the Venice Film Festival and a nomination for a Foreign Language Golden Globe.

Rosa María Bianchi tiene una carrera sobresaliente en televisión, teatro y cine. Nacida en Argentina, se trasladó muy joven a México, país donde se formó como actriz de teatro. Debutó en la telenovela Cuna de lobos, que alcanzó un impacto internacional.En 2004 se hizo acreedora a un premio Ariel por Mejor actuación femenina, concedido por la Academia Mexicana de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas, en reconocimiento a su trabajo en Nicotina (Hugo Rodríguez, 2003).
Jayro Bustamante es un prolífico y reconocido cineasta guatemalteco. Su infancia transcurrió en una comunidad mayoritariamente maya; más adelante cursó Publicidad y Comunicación. Viajó a París para estudiar en el Conservatorio Libre de Cine Francés, en París, y en el Centro Experimental de Cine de Roma. A su regreso a Guatemala, en 2009, cofundó La Casa de Producción. Con Ixcanul (2015), su opera prima, obtuvo el Oso de Plata en el Festival de Cine de Berlín, y más de cincuenta premios internacionales. La llorona (2019) le valió el premio a Mejor director en el Festival de Cine de Venecia y una nominación al Golden Globe por Mejor película extranjera.
